Thursday, August 28, 2008 - Tasted locally at Chuck's: Ridge brought five zinfandel blends from 2006 vintage (East Bench, Paso Robles, York Creek, Lytton Springs, Pagani Ranch). All were excellent but most of thought Pagani edged out the others. Dark complex fruit with smooth integrated tannins and long finish. Should improve over next several years.
