Saturday, January 24, 2015 - Half bottle. Still light yellow. Fragrant flowers, oyster shell, and ripe lemon. Medium weight-not the densest Clos ever but an alluring feel that suggests some wood without having it interfere with the taste. Now that is a feat! Pure citrus, solid acidity, stone and a smidgeon of quinine bitterness on the finish. Avoids the slight softness of some '07 Chablis and is the epitome of the potential charm of this vintage. The last of 4 tenths which have all been splendid, but none better than this. On to the full bottles with great anticipation.
