Friday, May 26, 2023 - Pop and pour. Drunk over several hours. maturing golden color. Chalk, marzipan, and orchard more than citrus fruit on the nose. The most mature of my bottles to date. It's toothsome and intense yet only mid plus weighted with plenty of dry extract delivered with a clarity and focus like drinking mineral water. Intensity and depth without heaviness on the palate with more of the same fruit, chalk, and a sense nuttiness on the back end. Finishes mouthwateringly clean and fresh. Complicated and contemplative. Very long. This is drinking very well, but I hope it is a bit more advanced than my remaining bottles. I will try another one soon and see.
