Monday, April 27, 2020 - A dozen years in the bottle and consumed over two days. Dusty cork provided a good seal, just difficult to get out cleanly. Dark ruby color with no hint of oxidation, good clarity. Aromas of black cherry and tea. Flavors of strawberry, cranberry, and rhubarb with a medium finish. Slightly acidic, but a fairly balanced wine, still shows fruit. Possibly past peak and nearing the end of life. Drink up !
