Friday, August 16, 2019 - Found this in the in-laws' cellar. Dark ruby. The nose is developed, with blackberry jam, black pepper, tobacco, vanilla, sweet baking spices. The palate is dry, with low to med acidity, med tannins and high alcohol (14.5%), which is nicely integrated and seems lower. This wine has aged beautifully, particularly considering the price point, but I would not hold it any longer.
