This wine really takes time to open up. Otherwise it can be too bitter and over the top. Deep, dark, opaque purple with sediment present. The bottle should have a more defined shoulder... Strong bouquet of blackberry, dark cherry, and a hint of strawberry. Chewy with a lingering finish. I don't like the screw cap at all as I feel a traditional cork would benefit the maturation process of this wine over the next decade. A fun wine and unique.
