Tuesday, February 21, 2012 - I bought this wine for my dad as a christmas gift. He tends to like fruit forward wines and based on research went with this wine. Im not a fruit bomb fan but had a glass with him to see what it was like, The nose is very dark with both blue fruit and chocolate. Taste is black fruit and chocolate all day long. This wine has very high alocohol level i want to say its around 16.5% if i remember correctly. However the the sweet fruit beginning balance with the alcohol and bitter chocolate really nicely. Wouldnt buy for myself but I can appreciate this wine for what it is. Cheers.
