Thursday, September 24, 2009 - Pop and pour. Elegant nose of sweet red fruit, a little spice, floral notes, and some vanilla oak. Smooth and luscious in the mouth with more of the fresh and bright cherries and raspberries mixed with some mineral flavors. Medium-bodied medium plus tannins. The oak and fruit are evident on the lasting finish. It did shut down at bit at the end of the night and became a tad one dimensional. 89+
