Monday, September 26, 2011 - Colour still young and dark for Pinot. Initial assessment slightly disappointing with violet nose and rather dry soft tannins with good aciidity. After an hour it improved, with more fruit (cherry) emerging on the nose and a sweetness on the palate to balance the dryness. Possibly left too long for my taste.
