Wednesday, October 12, 2011 - Wow--really good showing of this wine. Seems like it has opened up and become more complex since the last bottle about a year ago. Also seems lighter on its feet than I remember the previous bottle. Great combination of red and black fruits, bacon, black pepper hints, some soy undertones, and a bit of Christmas spice. Tannins are silky smooth and almost not noticeable--wonder if this will have the same age ability of some of Manfred's other wines? Great, great stuff right now. (PE: 97)
