Huge wine, lots of fruit, lots of alcohol, still a bit tannic, but it all comes together afer a few minutes in the glass. Tonight this was more refined than the Boxers, but they (an '06 and an '07) gave Carnival a good run for the money. Value wise, Boxer probably still can't be beat, but it's nice to have a Carnival (and a Glove) once in a while.
