Friday, March 25, 2016 - Bright, deep golden colour. Fragrant citrus nose with petrol. Attractive lime and lemon citrus palate with delicate 'marmalade' notes and superbly balanced, mouth-watering, acidity. Ripe but not sweet. Memorably long on the palate. Wonderful on its own and also with baked salmon. Fantastic wine - inexpensive when I bought it 15 years ago. I am really glad I took (what I thought was) a risk and cellared it until now. I have since talked to Clare Valley winemakers who love aged Semillon and it is a taste well worth acquiring IMO. It still has life. 93+
