Saturday, May 23, 2015 - Lovely nose of candied fruit, dusty wood, hints of buttery cinnamon pie crust, yet with fantastic notes of brine and olives. Great dimension. On the palate comes thick dark velvety ripe fruit, slight espresso. Fat in the mouth, yet with just enough tannin to sing through. Finishes long and lively, yet with the caress of a warm smokey fire.
