Wednesday, January 5, 2011 - Pale golden colour. Minerally nose with some raisined grapey/appley fruit, suggesting a bit of oxidation. Also some rather kipper-like smokiness. I think there is a touch of oxidation here, as it certainly feels more mature than I was expecting. There's a richness here, but the lovely, gentle, subtle acidity keeps that in check Excellent length.
