Still drinking well, no real signs of age.Spalsh decanted, drank over 90 minutes. Was drinking well out of the bottle and evolved a bit. Still hanging in there...Dark fruits, floral, pencil shavings on the nose. Palate was dusted dark fruits, lavender, tobacco, dark cherries, currant, cedar. Picked up a forest floor/pine.

Tannins resolved, elegant/classic Bordeaux mouthfeel.

Cantemerle is one of my standbys...not high profile or highly touted Bordeaux, very consistent and great QPR. I don't hesitate to open with casual meals...Drinks well now, has more shelf life but probably doesn't improve much from here
