Tuesday, February 16, 2016 - Deep but not brilliant garnet shows it's a bit aged. Nose shows little but some pencil shavings, oak, licorice and just a slight hint of horse poop. On the palate it's very dry without any sweetness, little fruitiness, little flavor contents to appreciate. Medium body. It's a bit tannic but not structured at all. Short finish, just a little hint of clove. 2 hours didn't make it open, so maybe that's it. Next day it even showed dirty cabbage flavor. Hollow, and no trace of richness, disappointing for the price, $37.
