Thursday, July 19, 2012 - On opening, strong aroma of strawberry and blueberry, followed by musty tangs of farmyard and urine. Decanted for 3 hours. Great balance and complexity with primary notes of strawberry and violet, with less prominent hints of tar, a little vanilla and is that star anise? Long consistent finish. Lovely wine.
