Tuesday, May 30, 2006 - Cuts that close edge of extreme exhuberance and refined balance. Beautiful dark garnet wine with spice, like red hots and allspice, dark brambles on the nose. Flavor is full and rich with some delight for every part of the tongue.There's dark bing cherries, blackberries, something like papaya peel, unsweetened chocolate, cinnamon, blueberry pie with the burnt part on the crust. Finish goes on and on like it's stuck to your taste buds. This is how Zinfandel should be. Was great with BBQ ribs!
