Saturday, January 30, 2016 - Gold/bronze in the glass (darker than the Nikolaihof I just tried); also with an oxidative note on the nose.
Dry and taut on the palate; decent persistence, medium-bodied. Not bad, although as I probably have observed in the past, not the typical flavor profile one usually expects from a Macon Chardonnay. Like the Nikolaihof, more interesting than delicious.
