Monday, March 23, 2009 - Wasn't sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. More like a carbonated white wine than like a champagne blend--like a super-fruity blanc de blanc. Surprised that there wasn't a more noticable pinot backbone considering that argyle is a big pinot producer. Left half the bottle in the refrigerator overnight. On the second dday it was really delicious, with apple and dough flavors dominating. Not sure if it got better or my mood changed but I ended up liking this pretty well.
