Saturday, May 14, 2022 - Medium deep gold, nose is subtle wood polish, like walking into an antique store. Not a big nose, but it draws you in, has a come-hither complexity that really makes you want to take a sip. The palate immediately impresses with its freshness, the first flavours definitely suggest age, but the freshness suggests a wine far younger. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel, I reckon this has to be right in its wheelhouse. Good acidity, and really mouth-filling flavours - roast lemon, nutty and toasty notes, and a very long, extended finish. Wow, this is delish!
