Tuesday, April 18, 2017 - Opened the second and last of 2 magnums which were a recent auction buy. Nose of black cherry, black berry, cassis, and hints of red cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, big body, seemed a richer tasting experience than the first magnum, lots of sediment on all sides of the bottle, delicious and elegant tasting, consumed over three evenings, it has peaked but will easily last 10 more years to go in magnum, incredible fruit with lots of black berry, black cherry and red cherry on the palate and finish, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste.
