Sunday, March 25, 2012 - Decanted for a half hour. It has an incredibly expressive, floral nose. Elegant and beautifully balanced, the tannins are still medium plus in intensity. The Cabernert Franc gives it a certain lightness which evokes Old World sensitivities. Great depth of flavor and a nice long finish. It is in a very good drinking window, and I would drink it now. It could probably age for a couple more years, but why push it? I have to believe that few California wines could show this well after 25 years.
