Friday, February 5, 2010 - This 2007 Tempranillo is deep purple in color. Aromas of Blackberries, Fig, Blood Oranges, Hot Chocolate, and Soil. If you dropped Wild Berry Pop-Tarts, Terry's Chocolate Orange, Nestle Quick Mix, and Green Tree Bark in a blender that's what I get on the nose. Flavors of Oak, Plum, Blackberry, Cherries, Walnuts, and Pepper on the palate. There is also a hint of Orange. I get sour cherry and oak on the finish. Round tannins, a little dry with some nice acidity.
