Friday, January 22, 2010 - Elegant nose full of deep black currant, blackberry, and a hint of anise. Velvety moutfeel shows flavors of dark berries, toasty oak, baking spice and a hint of menthol. Nice complexity on the palate. Firm, dusty tannins evident on the back end with med-high acid. Nice mix of oak and cocoa on the structured finish. Solid.
