Friday, December 2, 2011 - Inky ruby. Blueberries, violets, cassis, and a touch of oak on the nose. Medium to full bodied, blackberries, black cherries, fennel, pencil lead, good acid, drying tannins, a bit of heat, and a slightly sweet and woody medium+ finish. Good fruit and the oak didn't bother me. Every glass was better than the last.
