Sunday, February 14, 2016 - I'd had this bottle buried in the cellar for several years, and, finding it, decided to bring it up for Valentine's Day dinner. I actually wasn't expecting that much due to the rather lukewarm recent reviews on this wine on CT. But I was very presently surprised! This cab had a wonderful balance between fruit, tannin, acid and oak. The structure complemented the complex blackberry fruit very well. It was a great match for our beef tenderloin dinner!
