2006 d'Arenberg Shiraz The Dead Arm

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, March 28, 2013 - Well, it's been 2 years since the last bottle and this wine is coming into it's own. Decanted for an hour. Dark purple and fruit is maturing well. Dried blackberry and casis. tannins are rustic and dry and very harmonious. Finish is full and lush. From beginning to end it didn't disappoint. Not sure how this will take the long haul. Enjoyed at Deer Valley after a day of spring skiing.

3/29/2013 6:28:00 AM - Two of my favorite, The Dead Arm and skiing Deer Valley (and the rest of Park City)! I bought a case of the '06 on release and have had two. I think this one will go for years to come. Good tasting note.
