Sunday, June 7, 2015 - This, again, wasn't my style. I didn't get the meaty, gamey notes I thought the wine would have. It was dark, dark purple with muted blackberry and earth. Pnp. Massive mid pallet with gripping tannin and noticeable tannin. I had to get some cheese and meat to have with the wine to calm the wine down. To me, I thought this wine was like a rope that had a frayed ending. Not sure if it will come all back together since it was a bit unbalanced.
