Thursday, January 28, 2010 - Pop and pour. Classic Pinot appearance. Some jerky and pepper on the nose with quite a bit of heat--not much fruit. Very light in the mouth with a nice touch of acid. Initially, not much there, but it is made up for by a finish that is relatively lengthy with peppery-butter notes. A bit hot and some bitterness, however. Edit--with some air, the fruit improves and the bitterness fades +2 points.
