Friday, November 12, 2010 - This has really improved with age and has opened my eyes to the aging potential of certain cru beajoulais. The grapey brightness of its youth has been amply replaced with precision and complex minerality. Nice aromatics of delicate fresh raspberry and moss, with a vivid, gravelly minerality on the palate accented with a hint of light raspberry fruit. Lively acidity, clean, with some granitic rock on the finish. Like most gamays, for me, it goes down quite effortlessly.
