Dark red color with limited transparency. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and strawberry. Palate shows raspberry and strawberry notes with a green tannin streak that shows up in a medium-long finish. Some tobacco notes could derive from this green finish with time. Expect this to come together with a few more years in the bottle, but offers some pleasure now too. Drink or hold.

Moderate dull ruby. Fresh strawberry nose- nice. Medium bodied, jammy, dry strawberry fruit, full in the mouth, well balanced, rich fruit finish. Well balanced, great fresh fruit and structure. Good finish.

Floral, crunchy, brambly boysenberry fruit. Clean pure and mineral on palate but, light reflecting the character of the vintage. Would guess pinot noir blind. Very pretty.

Medium red. The fruit, mostly tart-ripe and red, has come out, along with some greenery, sweat, and mineral, with little of the gameyness this showed early on remaining. Effortless and smooth yet not truly silky, this quick evolving Fleurie has a beautiful temperament for a one-pot fall meal.

This has really improved with age and has opened my eyes to the aging potential of certain cru beajoulais. The grapey brightness of its youth has been amply replaced with precision and complex minerality. Nice aromatics of delicate fresh raspberry and moss, with a vivid, gravelly minerality on the palate accented with a hint of light raspberry fruit. Lively acidity, clean, with some granitic rock on the finish. Like most gamays, for me, it goes down quite effortlessly.
