Thursday, January 31, 2013 - Blind tasting. Decanted one hour. Pale hue. Nose a dissection room : wet ground, oxidised apples and immediately covered with strong burning whisky/formol notes. Making me think that the wine is emaciated. Mouth very surprising positively: seductive, cream and butter, powerful energy on the mid palate, long long after tasted carried with menthol notes. Perfect balance between minerality and fruit. Excellent. But why are we the only to find such a strange nose ?
