Friday, March 28, 2014 - Had to be the surprise of the night. What a nice 12 year old Cali Cab. Visually, no sign of age. solid color edge to edge. Deep translucent ruby with no browning. Detect a slight amount of age on the nose but no funk usually associated with an aging wine. Great mouthfeel and structure to keep this wine gong for a while longer. I don't think its in its prime but maybe just starting the backstretch.
