Re-bottled, pumped out the air and finished today about 20 hours later. Deep dark and opaque in color. Wine is is very rich, all kinds of dark fruit. Yes there is fruit, fruit and more fruit, though reserved, smooth, multi-layered and yes rich and very pure. All this is rewarded with a long and very smooth finish. The fruit is a combination of dark berry, licorice, hint of cherry and some minerality. This wine is so pure, everything seems to be where it should. I can only imagine what will evolve after some significant aging. This was our second tasting, previous one about 6 months ago and the improvement remarkable. If you're going to drink now consider double decanting and opening well in advance of drinking. And then enjoy.
