Sunday, January 3, 2016 - Medium garnet color with a nose of moss and forest floor. Dark berry, boysenberry, blackberry, cassis and and a bit of cedar on the palate. For me, this opened nicely balanced and ready to drink. Other recent vintages (2004 & 2005) have seemed very tannic to me. Not so with this bottle. Tannins are nicely integrated and the wine has a medium finish.
