Monday, February 19, 2018 - Decanted for 2.5 hours before dinner. At opening it was tart, bright, and very closed. Opened beautifully after decanting. Not really classic roses and tar, but a touch of floral and funk on the nose, beautiful dark fruit and forest on the palate with very nice acid and smooth tannins. An excellent QPR. I have one bottle left and will drink it within a couple years.
