Friday, February 26, 2010 - A smooth drinking, opulent and sexy wine with balanced layers of complimentary flavors. Nose and palate of dark berries combined with a spice, pencil lead, cocoa, pipe tobacco and vanilla medley. Smooth but big lingering tannic finish. This wine screams to be served with a red pasta dish or season red meat. While drinking wonderfully now, it should provide pleasure for several more years.
