Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - Color is really nice, cloudy, thick. Nose: I get a tomato note, and some swamp or mustiness. Also a hint of sort of a minerally sweetness. Taste: Very minerally. Almost salt on the back. Some acidic tartness and maybe a hint of red fruit on the midpalate, but not really any fruit note. Definitely still tannic on the mouth feel, but drinking fairly well. Definitely nice wine, but don't know about the QPR...
