Monday, September 27, 2010 - Dark ruby coloring, opaque. Aroma of figs, dark fruit. Blackberries, plums. Earthy. Full bodied, quite tannic. Long finish. Decanted for a couple of hours. Surprised tannins weren't a little smoother given it was 10 yars old, and decanted. Nice, though. Served with Boeuf bourguignon, which it complemented well.
