Foremost is delicious fruit and velvety mouthfeel but this wine is not plump. The fruit is dark with notes of cherry skins and cooked strawberries. Co-mingling with the fruit are bits of minerals and hints of stewed vegetables. Interesting and delicious. A dreadful match with peperoni pizza.
