Monday, March 1, 2010 - Reserved, restrained and cool on the nose with notes of wet stones, Arum lilies, green apple and spice. It is strict, linear and razor sharp in the mouth, in fact if there weren’t a sphere of glycerol around its rigid spine I’m quite certain a portion of my tongue could have been lanced right off. Some cinnamon oak weaves effortlessly through the pure white peach and lemon flavours without intruding and there’s a hint of aniseed. Quite simply the best young BdM CC for mine since the 2000.
