Wednesday, June 16, 2010 - Still in a very primary state, this wine is clearly in the classic Pegau mold. Nose is very aromatic: raspberries and leather, sweet roasted provencal herbs, tapenade. Structured and rather intense right now, with substantial tannins and tremendous power; very long finish. Needs some years but will be a stunner. Perhaps wiser not to drink it now, though.
