Sunday, February 2, 2014 - Took about 3 hours of aeration prior to tasting; the nose, lots of stewed apples, cherries, and plums, graphite powders, sweet spices, whipped cream, plus some caramel and mixed potpourri; the palate, still tight and young yet creamy, smooth, and well-structured, with lots of stewed red and dark berries, mild spices, and a touch of dry oak; the finish, rather drying and medium+ long, also with mixed stewed berries and unresolved tannins; overall, 92-93 points at this stage; will not touch the remaining bottles for 2-3 years.
