Saturday, September 9, 2017 - Bought on release. First bottle.

Wow! Intense nose of spice, sweet, mostly dark fruit, soy and some smoke. Very layered and complex: five spice, fennel, griled meat, strawberries, dark cherries etc. On the palate again spicy but with lovely fruit as well. Very intense but not at all heavy or clumsy. Good acidity, fairly low in tannins, very good lenght. One of the better Ch9 I've had. Drinking very well now.
