On the palate the wine showed sour cherry, iron, earth, oak, vanilla and some coffee, with medium- to high acidity, medium length and a rough mouthfeel. The wine was best a few minutes after opening the bottle and started to decline after about two hours in the decanter. Won’t buy again.
