Saturday, January 29, 2011 - 2008 & 2009 Rhone Valley (K&L Wine Merchants, San Francisco, CA): My favorite of the afternoon's tasting. Amazing coffee beans on the nose and palate, some barnyard funk to the nose, very little oak component, the mid-palate blew my mind with it's intensity, incredibly smooth finish. Wow!
