Sunday, October 27, 2019 - Straight out of the bottle, this wine has very little nose. Very muted fruit, almost to the point of being undetectable. First impression was a smoke flavor, followed by very little fruit but some residual tannin. Some acidicy but not much. The wine is smooth but lacks depth. I had higher hopes for this wine given Parker et all ratings for this domaine. Will see if this wine matures over the next few hours / days.

Day 2 and this wine is tasting much better. Nothing profound, but still smooth and supple. This wine won't explode in your mouth, but it's easy drinking for sure.
