Monday, July 13, 2015 - The wine was a medium yellow; the color of sunshine. The nose was a bit reticent, but revealed peaches, honey, and a mild floral note.
The flavors were sublimely concentrated: peach and honey with whispers of cherry, pineapple and white flowers. The sweetness was held in check by the ample acidity -- perhaps not enough to please an acid geek, but perfectly well balanced.
This was crazy good from an unheralded producer and a nice reminder that you drink the wine, not the label. Delicious.
