Sunday, June 12, 2011 - This has been in my Cellar for a number of years. Duckhorn was one of the wines that turned me into a wine lover and collector back in 1999 in SanFran-- wow! What an experience. This time around, it was a very good complement to a parpiadella with homemade bolanase sauce. Nice oaky vanilla fragrance, with a deep, ruby color. Very mild tannins and a nice sweetness to the bouquet and mouth. This wine is at it's peak. Drink it if you have it.
